Prairie Co-operative Limited operates 12 locations in the communities of Melville (3), Lemberg, Fort QuAppelle (2), Lipton, Cupar, Strasbourg, Ituna, and Kelliher (2). Our mission is to provide quality products and service in a sustainable manner to all our members and communities.

Prairie Co-op is looking for a highly motivated individual to join our Melville Home Centre Team! It is a permanent full-time position. Hours of work is 40 hours per week, Monday-Saturday.

MAIN DUTIES:
- Be familiar with all product lines.
- Provide accurate information and excellent assistance/service to customers.
- Promote the sale of merchandise and meet the needs, requirements and expectations of the consumer.
- Operate till and prepare daily cash reconciliations.
- Prepare and place orders for merchandise; Receive and price merchandise as directed.
- Perform general housekeeping duties.
- Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Positive attitude and self-motivated
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work a variety of shifts (between 7:30am to 6:30pm, Monday to Saturday)
- Be bondable
- Retail work experience is an asset
- Valid class 5 drivers license
