Content Marketing Strategists work to help local businesses establish and/or maintain their online presence with the use of various forms of content. The ideal candidate for this role would be someone who understands the importance of quality content to drive results for small businesses, has a keen eye for detail, and can keep up with the changing landscape in content marketing. They must also be comfortable in switching gears quickly, working with tight deadlines, and learning new content strategies efficiently.
Responsibilities:
Help businesses establish themselves as local experts with well-researched, topical and original written content
Conduct in depth research to develop valuable content assets
Create short and long-form written materials such as blogs and native ads in a variety of verticals, with SEO best practices in mind
Able to create and speak to reports outlining fulfilled services and proof of performance
Construct custom email campaigns based on specific objectives and audiences
Create and publish social media content for many businesses in a variety of verticals
Develop and design custom graphics targeting specific industries or businesses
Provide exceptional customer service for our partners and their clients
Maintain an ever changing understanding of current content marketing trends and strategies
Skills and Qualifications:
Strong writing and editing skills are a must
Experience with Photoshop is a valuable asset
Digital marketing experience
Strong knowledge of SEO best practices and emerging trends
Proficient knowledge of social media (Twitter, Facebook, etc.)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Exceptional organizational skills and keen attention to detail
Ability to work independently as well as collaborate within a team
Bachelors degree and/or equivalent experience
Experience with graphic design is an asset
