Description

A part time (up to 30 hrs per week April to September and minimal hours as needed October to March) contracted maintenance person is required to perform a variety of duties in the Resort Village of Grandview Beach, Saskatchewan located on Last Mountain Lake.
-Water treatment/testing/start up/shut down
-Landfill maintenance
-Grass cutting/weed whipping/tree trimming
-Limited road maintenance
-Snow removal
-Other duties such as painting, limited carpentry, plumbing, light welding and equipment maintenance
The successful candidate will have the following demonstrated skills:
-Some experience operating heavy equipment (tractors/backhoe)
-Be mechanically inclined
-Must be physically capable to perform all duties as outlined
-Must work well with others and independently
-Must be reliable and responsible
At a minimum a class 5 drivers license is required.
This position reports directly to council.
The days of work will be Monday to Friday from May until September and as required October to April for snow removal and other duties.
