Restorex Disaster Restoration is a family-owned company providing restoration services to Southeast Saskatchewan. We offer our employees a competitive wage, great benefits, and a safe and rewarding work environment!
Restorex specializes in 24/7 emergency services to residential and commercial clients for water, fire, or sewer backup disasters. Other services we offer include smoke, mold, wind/hail, and asbestos remediation.
We are looking for energetic, safety minded individuals who are highly motivated and are looking for long term employment. Preference will be given to candidates who are willing to work extended hours and have experience in Asbestos Remediation. We are willing to train the ideal candidate if necessary.
Job Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Ensure company policies and procedures, including health and safety, are being followed
- Extract water from flooded properties resulting from flood, fire or other disasters
- Perform controlled demolition of damaged building materials, on-site cleaning and content manipulation
- Set up containment for asbestos abatements and follow proper procedures as per OH&S
- Accept direction from senior employees and communicate daily with Foremen and PM's.
- Maintain a clean job site and equipment at all times
- Perform general labor.
Skills and Abilities:
- Positive and professional attitude
- Be a team environment
- Physically fit
- Safety conscious and able to wear the provided safety equipment
- Restoration, construction or asbestos removal experience is considered an asset
Additional Requirements:
- Must have a valid drivers license and be bondable
- Must be able to provide a clean criminal record check and drivers abstract.
- Must be fluent in English and legally entitled to work in Canada
