About the Job
A typical day on the Counter:
Greet all customers and see they are promptly and properly taken care of
Answer counter and/or telephone inquiries for product information, pricing and delivery
Receive and process customer orders, recommend substitutions, prepare and input sales data and expedite orders
Process and monitor special orders and notify customers
Assist customers picking up their orders
Keep up to date and support new products and promotions
Participate in all promotional activities and works with suppliers on counter days
Our ideal new team member:
Has 2-3 years of counter sales experience
Experience in the electrical industry is an asset but we will train
Is customer service oriented, motivated, energetic and goal driven
Has a strong desire to grow, learn and move up in our company
Has a strong work ethic
Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.)
