Description

Seaboard Special Crops is currently searching for a Payroll and Benefits Administrator to join our team.  

Duties and Responsibilities
- Processing the bi-weekly and semi-monthly payrolls for up to 50 employees located in multiple Saskatchewan locations ensuring accurate and complete payroll procedures on a timely basis.
- Handling all payroll and benefits administration including; new hire setup, status changes, terminations, benefits processing, ROE, etc. Managing inquiries and responses with providers, employees and management, escalating concerns as necessary.
- Research and keep updated knowledge of HR related statutory requirements, adhering to all payroll, tax, employment standards regulations, and deadlines in order to minimize risk to the organization.  
- Maintaining salaried staff vacation accruals, and both digital and physical employee files.
- Administration of retirement plans offered to all Seaboard Special Crops full-time staff.
- Ensure the confidentiality and privacy of payroll records as they relate to the organization and its employees.
- Assisting in the development and implementation of company-wide HR policies.
- Standardization of payroll systems across all locations.
- Other Finance and HR duties as assigned.

Qualifications
- Post-secondary diploma in business administration, or three years equivalent education or experience
- Successful completion of Canadian Payroll Association (PCP) certification
- Working knowledge of Ceridian
- Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to interact with tact, discretion and judgement at all times
