Description

All Nations Hope Network (ANHN) is a non-profit corporation, incorporated under the province of Saskatchewan in 2004 and is a charitable organization. Being a Network of Indigenous people, organizations and agencies, we respectfully strive to provide support and services to our First Nations, Mtis and Inuit families and communities who are experiencing HIV, AIDS, HCV, STIs and blood borne pathogens.

Our specific objectives for this two year project include:

Objective 1: By 2020, By March 2020, All Nations Hope Network will have provided peer navigation and outreach services to 200 Indigenous people who inject drugs in Regina, to increase access by 75% to care, treatment and support for people requiring harm reduction services, STBBI testing and other health/social services.

Objective 2: By March 2020, All Nations Hope Network will have provided 200 Indigenous people who inject drugs in Regina, with visioning plans and assisted in implementing plans, to increase their knowledge about harm reduction and safer drug use by 75%.

Typical Duties and Responsibilities

> In consultation with the ANHN CEO and senior staff, the WIN will undertake the planning, development, delivery, monitoring and evaluation of the project as outlined in the work plan.

> WIN will be one Indigenous male and one Indigenous female peer, both workers may be in recovery and they will benefit the Indigenous people who use drugs on a daily basis in the city of Regina by providing care, treatment and support to them.

> Navigators will lead Indigenous people who use drugs to the local Elders/Helpers at the Place which will provide them with additional support in their lives, including traditional teachings and ceremonies.
