We are looking for an experienced Certified Professional Accountant to ensure the integrity of accounting information by establishing quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting. This is a full time contract position here in Lloydminster to start as soon as the right candidate is found.
Responsibilities
Verify, allocate, post and reconcile transactions
Produce error-free accounting reports and present their results
Full cycle file reviews
A/R & A/P
Monthly, quarterly and yearly government remittances
WCB and Benefits admin
Reporting
Job costing
Permits
Invoicing
Inventory control
Year end duties as needed
Administrative phones/filing as needed
Requirements
CPA Designation Required
5+ years of proven accounting experience
5 years of Simply Accounting experience
Thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures and principles
Excellent accounting software user and administration skills
Accuracy and attention to detail
Aptitude for numbers and quantitative skills
