Description

Facility: Saskatchewan Cancer Agency
Job Description: The Telehealth Coordinator provides coordination and administrative services for the Saskatchewan Cancer Agency Telehealth program. The position
reports to the Provincial Manager of Community Outreach Program. The incumbent facilitates all Telehealth activities including scheduling patient
consultations, testing, set up and management of equipment, as well as the provision of technical support for the program and instruction for
participants. The incumbent liaises closely with members of the medical team, provincial Telehealth Coordinators, patients and their families to
ensure timely provision of care. The position also encompasses quality assurance data collection by means of data base regulation, and
maintenance of ongoing service satisfaction measurement tools.

Experience:

No previous experience required.



Required Qualifications:
Grade 12

Office Education/Secretarial certificate plus completion of a Medical Terminology course (OR) Medical Office Assistant certificate



Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Ability to interpret detailed information and communicate effectively both orally and in writing.

Ability to manage multiple tasks in various stages of completion according to priorities.

Ability to operate a computerized data entry system.

Ability to operate all types of office equipment and to obtain knowledge base required for operating and troubleshooting the Telehealth equipment.

Ability to work effectively with provincial Telehealth team and liaise as necessary.

Ability to work independently.

Demonstrate competence in the use of computers and Microsoft applications.

Human relations skills required to empathize with complaints and/or concerns and establish rapport with patients, the public and other staff.
