Orr Centre licensed Daycare is seeking a qualified individual to staff the position of Early Childhood Educator. The start date for this position will be ASAP. The shift is Monday to Friday, the hours to be determined, and a 1hr unpaid break.
As an Early childhood Educator, you will:
-Ensure a safe, positive environment for all children under your care
-Program, offer and assist in completion of activities that address all levels of development
-Be an enthusiastic team member: sharing ideas to help the program operate at its very best
-Liaison and foster relationships with: parents/families/supervisor/other K4K team members
-Have a sense of satisfaction at the end of the day!
Qualifications for joining our team include (but are not limited to):
-Completed ECE Level II or III
-Previous experience working with children with diverse needs
-The ability to multi-task and thrive in a high-energy environment: the ability to manage multiple situations effectively is necessary, particularly behaviour and room management
-Have the ability to follow instructions and directions: follow company policy and procedure
-Must be comfortable working indoors and out
-Must have or be willing to obtain the following documents:
o A successfully completed Criminal Record Check and Child Abuse Check
o First Aid Certificate (with child and infant CPR)

Early Childhood Education Skills
