POSITION AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Camecos facilities team is responsible for protecting the companys investment of building assets by ensuring optimum services of the buildings systems and equipment infrastructure.

In this role you will be responsible for operating and maintaining Camecos corporate campus owned and leased properties in Saskatoon as it relates to the mechanical, building automation systems (BAS), HVAC and associated systems. You will ensure the building systems function efficiently, reliably, safely, securely and in a manner consistent with existing regulations and standards. In addition, you will be responsible for contractual services and supplies related to the building operations, including contractor and minor project management.

Additional responsibilities include the administration of the computerized maintenance management system, execution of the preventative maintenance plan, monitoring life of assets, document control and promoting health and safety awareness.

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS

Requirements of the position:
    Journeyperson ticketed trade with HVAC expertise
    At least six years as a journeyperson working with HVAC systems and building automation
    Equivalent combination of education and work experience considered
    Working knowledge of other trades such as electrical, plumbing, construction, etc.
    Strong customer relations, reporting and documentation skills
Assets:
    Certifications or memberships in building automation systems, occupational health & safety, Building Owners & Managers Association and/or International Facility Management Association
