Lake Country Co-operative Association Ltd. invites applications for the position of Director, Marketing and Community Relations
Responsibilities for this position include the following:
1.Living the Brand  to assist in the development and maintenance of the brand strategy for the association and develop a training plan to create awareness of the brand.
2.To be an active and contributing member of the senior leadership team.
3. Participate in strategic planning, annual planning and goal setting and ensure marketing efforts support.
4. Develop and implement the organizations Social Media Strategy
5. Work closely with the senior leadership team to focus our giving in to specific community sponsorships and donations that most closely reflect our corporate values and strategies.
Qualifications
University degree in marketing, advertising, or equivalent.
2-5 years experience in marketing or marketing related field.
Excellent understanding and familiarity with brand building and brand management.
Proven track record in creating and executing successful e-mail marketing, internet marketing and direct marketing campaigns/ programs.
Direct experience with graphic design, web page and other marketing related soft-ware tools including Adobe Photoshop, Print Shop, Adobe Illustrator etc.
Knowledge of ethical marketing best practices and associated regulations.
Demonstrated proficiency in internet marketing techniques, technologies, and solutions.
Hands on experience with search engine optimization, pay-per-click advertising, and other web-focused initiatives.
Ability to build and sustain relationships with key business partners.
Highly effective project management, prioritization, multi-tasking and time management skills to meet deadlines.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, proven team player who is both flexible and adaptable.  
Retail experience in the areas of marketing.
