Description

Adecco is recruiting for a Steel Fabricator to work in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. As a Steel Fabricator, you will be responsible for fabricating and welding various metal structures. You will work from blueprints and use a variety of machines to bend, cut, and assemble metal components. Applicants interested in this Steel Fabricator opportunity should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a custom fabrication setting and hold a valid CWB ticket.

Steel Fabricator Responsibilities:
- Read and understand blueprints, specifications, work orders, and plans of projects
- Follows detailed assembly instructions, processes, and procedures
- Operate a variety of tools including drills, saws, grinders, and a variety of welding equipment
- Confident in ability to measure and align metal in a variety of angles
- Responsible for performing detailed quality checks to ensure that projects meet all requirements
- Document work and results while keeping records of labour and material used
- Responsible for ensuring the safety and actively engages in wearing PPE

Steel Fabricator Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience with custom fabrication
- CWB and Journeyman tickets are preferred
- Knowledge of press breaks considered to be a strong asset
- Excellent communication skills with ability to understand written and verbal instructions
- Knowledge of welding materials, processes, and equipment
- Candidates should have strong interpersonal skills and have a team player mentality
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
