We are seeking an employment instructor/counsellor for our Newcomer Career & Support Services centre funded by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada.
Reporting to the Program Supervisor, the Employment Instructor/Counsellor is responsible for facilitating employment program targeted for newcomers to Canada, with focus on low language individuals. This position has two overarching responsibilities: 1) develop and facilitate employment group sessions. 2) Provide one-one employment counselling to newcomers. This position is designed for a creative and energetic individual.
Experience working with low language and low skills immigrant; knowledge of newcomer to Canada community groups and strong ambition to connect
