Job Description: The Assessor Coordinator Degree Senior works as a member and the team lead of a multi-disciplinary team. The incumbent will provide clinical
supervision and team leadership to interdisciplinary regulated and unregulated team members. The incumbent will be responsible for assessment,
provisional diagnosis, treatment, case management, crisis intervention, clinical consultation, education and referral services for clients and their
families as appropriate, representing the three streams of service delivery: addiction, mental health and concurrent addiction and mental health
issues. The Assessor Coordinator Degree Senior as team lead will participate in addiction and mental health prevention and promotion activities and
contribution to the establishment and maintenance of addiction and mental health resources in the community along with reduction of stigma. The
incumbent will develop and maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders in order to provide a continuum of recovery oriented services
to clients accessing community Addiction and Mental Health services.
Experience:


Requires a minimum of five years addiction and mental health experience.

Required Qualifications:


-Current CPR (BLS Level C)

-Must be eligible for registration with appropriate professions regulatory body

-Non Violent Crisis Intervention Training required

-Requires a Baccalaureate degree in a Regulated Healthcare Profession

-Valid Drivers License

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:


-Ability to clearly articulate assessment findings in the formulation of referral plans and requests

-Ability to make decisions in accordance with the policies and procedures of SHA Mental Health and Addiction Services and support Assessor
