The Smart Families Food Co-op is seeking a friendly, motivated and reliable part time coordinator for the Good Food Box program. The program helps members of our community to access fresh vegetables and fruit. The coordinator will work as part of a team overseeing the coordination and delivery of the good food boxes.
Duties may include:
Writing Newsletters
Record keeping
Promoting the program and creating advertising materials
Working with volunteers, depots and customers
Loading and unloading a cube van with produce
Assisting in the packing of produce into Good Food Boxes
Collecting orders from depots
Delivering Good Food Boxes to various locations within Prince Albert
General upkeep and maintenance of the delivery vehicle
Monthly reporting and meeting with the board of directors
Requirements:
Class 5 Driver's license
The physical demands of this job require the moving and lifting of heavy objects up to 50lbs.
Effective communication and teamwork skills
Must be available on Wednesdays and additional days as needed.
