We are a local Insurance company look for someone who is organized with exceptional communication skills. We are searching for an Administrative Assistant/Receptionist who is responsible for a diverse range of administrative support needs. This individual must be able to work independently with limited or no supervision at times. Daily responsibilities would include filing, handling mail, data entry, typing as well as other front office duties. The ideal candidate is highly organized with customer service being a priority. The role works internally with both management and other office staff on a daily basis.
Duties/Responsibilities & Skills and Abilities:
- Greeting and directing clients
- Answering phones, transferring calls, and taking messages
- Filing & Creating/Labeling Client Files
- Mail Distribution Electronic/Incoming/Outgoing
- Accounts Receivables/NSFS
- Invoicing and Letters
- Uploading/Updating and Documenting Client information
- Problem solving
- Working with others
- Oral communication
- Documenting
- Cash Handling, Daily Cash Out and Bank Deposits
- Manage Office Social Media Accounts
- Ordering Office Supplies and Maintaining Inventory
- Computer Use:
- MS Word/Window/Excel
- Ability to learn the programs used in the office unique to the Cooperators
- Job task planning and organizing
- Other clerical duties as they arise
Requirements:
- Office and/or Insurance Experience
- Level 1 General Insurance License to be obtained
- Legally able to work In Canada
- Credit and Criminal Record Check
Office Hours:
- Monday Friday
o 9:00 am to 5:00 pm (1-hour lunch)
