The File Hills Qu'Appelle Tribal Council is a non-profit organization that provides a range of programs and services to 11 First Nations throughout Southern Saskatchewan within the Treaty Four Territory. The position will work as part of the Health Services Team based at the "All Nations Healing Hospital" Reporting to the Executive Director providing administrative support within the Health Services Department. This position will work closely with all departments within the ANHH facility.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Answering and directing incoming calls, receiving, admitting and assisting clients;
* Tracking incoming/outgoing mail/faxes/correspondence;
* Creates, edits and formats documents;
* Provides administrative support to Team Leads and committees;
* Operation and maintenance of office equipment;
* Maintaining filing systems (filing,purging, archiving);
* Maintain and coordinate office inventory (liaises with vendors,suppliers);
* Maintenance of staff itineraries, office manuals;
* Coordination of conference room bookings, tours;
* Other general administrative duties including occasional support to services across the facility.
QUALIFICATIONS:
* Graduate of a two year administration program and three years administrative experience;
* Dependable; ability to work in a confidential environment; excellent interpersonal,organizational and time management skills; able to learn new skills and multi task with constant interruptions;able to work independently or within a team with minimum supervision; exceptional written and oral communication with attention to detail; exceptional working knowledge of software programs (i.e. Word, Excel, Access, Power Point)
* Knowledge of First Nations Culture and traditions; must have a valid SK driver's license and reliable vehicle; must provide a criminal record check.
Hours -0830 to 1630-weekdays-flexible hrs if required
