The Before and After School Program provides before and after school care for children in grades 1 to grade 6 in various host schools throughout the city of Regina.
The successful candidate should be a highly motivated, results oriented individual who has strong analytical and time management skills who will primarily be responsible for various administration duties related to the operation of the Before and After School Program.
Duties:
-Enrolls, withdraws and changes the registration status of participants as needed, creating and updating files, including monthly attendance sheets and wait lists.
- Responsible for annual mail out of registration forms and re-registration forms.
-Collects outstanding monthly fees.
-Responsible for the development and assessment of a daily program plan for children and staff to follow, monthly. This includes Creative Activities, Outside/Gym Activities, Life/Social Skills Activities and Nutrition Activities.
-Responsible for managing, organizing and planning all Schools Out Day Camps including creating daily program plans, scheduling swim times, field trips and special guests.
-Responsible for shopping, sorting and tracking program supplies and purchases.
-Responsible for regular, unscheduled visits to all sites to ensure program standards are being met.
-Prepares, updates and maintains all program binders, Parent Boards and first aid kits.
-Assists parents in the completion of registration forms and sponsorship forms.
-Reviews When2Work (staff scheduling software), ensuring the appropriate number of staff to child ratios are in place at each off-site location when the Director is unavailable.
-Ensures that staff check in, on time, prior to their morning and afternoon shift via text message on the cell phone provided when the Director is unavailable.
-Fills in for Site-Staff when required.
