Description

We are seeking an outgoing, energetic individual to join us as a Supervisor in our Celtic pub, the Knotted Thistle.
Working under the direction of our Director of Food & Beverage and pub management, this position will play an integral part in planning, organizing and coordinating the efforts of our kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure the success of the pub.

Some of the duties and responsibilities associated with the Pub Supervisor role include:
Supervising staff

Maintaining records for department related items such as sales and wastage

Facilitating staff training and development as necessary

Coordinating, assigning and reviewing day to day operations related tasks

Resolving any concerns or complaints

Ensuring food & beverage quality and standards are upheld

Acting as a liaison between staff and patrons to ensure their satisfaction

  Ensuring cleanliness of work environment and adherence to health and safety standards

Maintaining stock and ordering of supplies including the beer, Scotch selection and wine menu

This full-time position entails working 5 days a week in a variety of shifts, so flexibility is a must!

Individuals should possess outstanding problem solving capabilities, a professional demeanor and the ability work well in a team environment.

A minimum 2 years previous food & beverage experience in a comparable environment is required and preference will be given to those with related management or supervisory experience.
