Munch Catering is seeking a dependable, energetic individual to manage the catering services of Munch.  This manager will provide support and leadership to catering assistants with cognitive disabilities, as they learn food service skills, while meeting the needs of catering clients.

Catering contracts are primarily Monday  Friday; hours will vary but average 25-35 hours weekly.  The successful applicant will be comfortable working in a dynamic environment, demonstrating a high degree of initiative.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Plan, direct and coordinate catering activities for Munch
-    Negotiate catering contracts
-    Schedule catering staff and volunteers
-    Complete grocery shopping
-    Lead catering team in food preparation and delivery
Responsible for client satisfaction through effective communication and follow up
Responsible for food safety compliance
Provide day-to-day coaching, mentoring and leadership to     catering assistants and volunteers
Makes recommendations for standard menu and special orders
Makes recommendations to training manager for training and catering operations

Preferred skills and experience:
Minimum 2 years experience with food preparation in a commercial setting and/or catering experience
Food Safety levels I and II
Team leadership
Relational experience with people with cognitive disabilities
Leadership skills  - decision- making, communication, integrity, accountability
