Description

Quickthree Technology invents and manufactures unique industrial equipment for the oil and gas industry and is offering qualified individuals an opportunity to join our team.  We are seeking to hire a full time CAD/CAM Engineering Technologist.  

Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain current sets of production drawings
Work with Production staff and Engineering cooperatively to optimize drawings sets
BOM administration and maintenance
Full 3D CAD process: conceptual design, prototyping, production optimizations, shop drawings, vendor drawing sets, revision maintenance, etc.
Work with Supply Chain to Spec components and materials
Assist Production shop through maintenance of work order system
Develop image rendering and documents for sales and website support
ERP/purchasing system data input and BOM maintenance
Design of decal packages
Technical writing: reports, operators manuals, etc.

Skills and Competencies:
Graduate from a CAD/CAM Engineering Technology or a Mechanical Engineering Technology program
5+ years of related experience
Capacity to work independently or as part of a team
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Broad knowledge base in manufacturing, hydraulic and electric power systems
Experience and aptitude with Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD, Autodesk Vault and Microsoft Office
Technical writing skills an asset
Successful candidate must provide a completed Criminal Record Check prior to commencing employment
