SilverBirch Hotels & Resorts manages hotels operating under major franchise brands, such as Marriott, Hilton, and Radisson across Canada.
We are looking for part-time Banquet Servers at the Radisson Hotel in Saskatoon.
Reporting to the Banquet Manager, the Banquet Servers will be responsible to exceed the expectations of our customers by ensuring service and food excellence in a timely and efficient manner, executing detailed instructions for all assigned meetings, conventions and banquets, establishing professional and courteous rapport, and coordinating service of special customer requirements through other departments and outside sources as required.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Set tables in accordance with Radisson standards
- Prepare orders for presentation to guest
- Serve food, coffee, water and other beverages; refill beverages as needed
- Clear tables throughout the dining experience using proper methods for removing dishes, glassware and silverware
- Clean banquet room and banquet kitchen area during and after banquet functions
- Cooperate closely with other servers to meet and exceed guests expectations
- Maintain warm, hospitable guest relations in all guest contacts. .
- Other duties as assigned.
Preferred Education & Qualifications:
- Must have six months serving experience within a full service hotel property operation.
- Strong organizational skills demonstrated ability to proactively prioritize needs and effectively manage resources and time.
- Able to maintain high standards of productivity and efficiency.
- Follow safety & security rules and procedures.
Working Conditions:
- Various shifts Monday Sunday (evenings and weekends)
- Hotel Banquet Rooms working conditions.
- Standing, moving, bending.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
