Description

Epic Audio Video Unlimited is currently searching for a dedicated and detail oriented Apprentice Audio-Video Technician to join the team, full-time.

The position consists mostly of field work that includes installing and supporting integrated electronics systems equipment for our residential clients. The Apprentice works with frequent supervision initially, growing towards a need for occasional & more minimal supervision on their journey towards the Lead Audio-Video Custom Installation Technician role.

Tasks and Responsibilities:
    Rough-In Wiring of New Construction and Retrofit Projects.
    Final Installation of Audio/Video and Control systems, TVs, projectors, low-voltage lighting and shades.
    General In-Shop duties, including warehouse organization.
    Satellite TV installation and servicing.
    Complete daily paperwork and weekly recaps.
    Actively seek to learn all aspects and responsibilities of the Lead Audio-Video Custom Installation Technician.
    All installation and service must meet the highest quality standards set forth by Epic Audio Video Unlimited, while assuring a professional and safe working environment.

What We're Looking For:
     No previous experience is required. However, candidates must be customer service oriented, energetic, professional, dependable and personable.
    Ability to work on residential construction sites, often outdoors.
    Strong problem solving skills
    Must be able to work in small spaces, climb ladders, and lift 50lbs unassisted
    Willing to work a flexible schedule, including regular non-overnight travel, and periodic overnight travel.
    Have a valid drivers license and clean driving record (3 years)
    Computer skills are required, networking knowledge is an asset.

Compensation will be determined by level of experience, and will be reevaluated at the end of the 90 day probationary period.
