The Saskatchewan Association of Social Workers is a member based organization which regulates social workers in Saskatchewan. Hours are 7.5 per day.
Duties include:
Membership Services
- assist Registrar to process new membership applications and renewals
- answer general membership, registration & general inquiries by telephone, in person, and through Email
Online System Management
- maintain/manage online registration system
- develop database reports/queries as requested
Administrative Services
- Provide administrative support to the work of staff and Committees
- prepare draft meeting agendas, circulate agendas, minutes, and other meeting material
- Co-ordinate meetings
- maintain filing/record keeping systems
- supervise casual clerical support
Qualifications:
- Minimum certificate/diploma office administration and experience
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- High level of ability with computer programs in Windows XP environment (Word, Excel, Access, MS Publisher, PowerPoint)
- experience with high volumes of complex data entry
- Ability to develop administrative systems & procedures
- Ability to record and compose detailed minutes
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in responding to members and public questions/concerns
