Description

Great Plains College is looking for dynamic and enthusiastic instructor(s) for our Business Certificate program at the Swift Current Campus.  The instructor will instruct students with the focus on the field of commercial law.  The curriculum includes details and concepts of contract law and how these concepts are influenced by various legislative acts and common law.  Knowledge and lessons will focus on; torts, agency, various forms of business organizations, the sale of goods, employment, bailments, insurance, real and intellectual property and secured transactions.

Total contract: 14.75 days

The Business Certificate Instructor should bring the following qualifications to this position:
- Four year Bachelor degree in Commerce/ Business Administration; OR a Law degree; OR equivalent 4 year Business degree; OR related 4 year degree with major or related experience in specialty area to be taught;
- Two years recent/relevant work experience (2 years in the last 5 years) in business law environment
- Preference will be given to individuals who understand the principles of adult education
