Facility: SWIFT CURRENT HOME CARE
Job Description: The Wound Care Resource Coordinator, under the supervision of the Home Care Manager East, facilitates the overall functioning of the Wound Management Program.  The Coordinator will promote safety and excellence in wound care delivery within a collaborative framework in the Cypress Health region through development and implementation of regional wound care education, consultations on complex wounds, and participating in the development and implementation of program quality improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor Degree/Diploma in Nursing
Registered or eligible for registration with the Saskatchewan Registered Nurses Association (SRNA)
Experience
Minimum 3 years relevant Acute Care Nursing experience
Minimum 1 year supervisory experience
Baccalaureate level or an acceptable certificate in nursing management, or equivalent, is desired (consideration will be given to those currently working towards a degree).
Graduate of an Enterostomal Therapy Program, or the International Inter-professional Wound Care Course, (University of Toronto), an equivalent wound management certification program, or enrolment in one of the above.
Must have five years of active wound care experience as verified by current employer, including recent wound care teaching experience and certification in specialized skills
    

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Change management skills
Ability to competently use computers and software applications as required by the position

Expected Start Date: October 29, 2018
FTE: 0.86

Hours of Work: Shift Information: Days
32.00 hours per 1 week rotation: 4 shifts of 8.00 hours
