Description

The successful applicant, as part of the Sun West Distance Learning Centre team, will be responsible for providing support & planning in all aspects of Marketing, Communications, Strategic Planning & Stakeholder Relations for the Sun West Distance Learning Centre.

This position will be part of our DLC Communications & Marketing team responsible for the following:

Responsibilities:
Program Promotion - branding, promotional materials, media events
Strategic Planning - programming goals, market opportunities, needs assessments, research costs & competitive alternatives
Communications - developing key messaging, creating communications content, supporting administration with staff communication processes
Stakeholder Relations - manage existing relationships, pursue new partnership opportunities, co-ordinate with Superintendent of Technology on current partnerships & areas of growth
Budget Management - manage marketing & promotions budget, pursue grant & partnership funding opportunities in relation to programming

The successful applicant will possess the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities to manage all aspects of Marketing and Communications for the Sun West Distance Learning Centre. Completion of a Degree in Commerce, Marketing or Communications will be considered an asset.
