Under the supervision of the Manager of Support Service, the Night Attendants are responsible for maintaining a safe environment for YWCA Regina clients and staff overnight. The Night Attendant is often called upon to provide general information to walk-ins such as referrals to My Aunts Place or partner organizations.
Hours of Work: 11:30 pm 7:30 am
Length of Employment: Casual, no set hours
Start Date: Immediate
Responsibilities:
Monitoring the lobby and all exit doors;
Checking gauges and recording information;
Custodial duties including, vacuuming, mopping, removal of garbage and recycling.
Reacting positively to resident needs and emergency situations;
Facilitating emergency intakes.
Qualifications:
Experience using the Microsoft Office and Google platforms;
Custodial Experience
Knowledge of the City of Regina and downtown core.
Self-directed, demonstrated ability to work effectively without constant and
direct supervision or guidance;
Must be able to provide a clear criminal record check with a vulnerable sector
check
First Aid/CPR-C or willingness to obtain;
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
Cultural awareness, and respect for women and children of various backgrounds;
Working from a feminist, anti-oppressive / anti-racist perspective;
