Summary
The Administrative Assistant will be required to perform an array of administrative duties including secretarial and receptionist duties. Additional responsibilities may include entry-level bookkeeping. The Administrative Assistant is also accountable for drafting, reviewing and editing time-sensitive correspondence sent by the staff. Other duties, relevant to the position, shall be assigned as required.
Job Duties
Provide administrative support to the office Partner and staff.
Handle client payment and record deposits daily.
Review and prepare all documents, reports and other correspondence materials.
Courteously receive and screen all in-bound calls, emails, and visitors.
Review, evaluate and distribute all incoming and outgoing mail.
Maintain daily appointments of the Partners and staff.
Maintain a high level of confidentiality in all interactions. .
Maintain a professional image and demeanor with all employees, management and visitors at all times.
Coordinate office activities and staff functions.
Maintain and monitor office supply inventory levels and place orders as required.
Perform daily office duties such as filing and organizing paperwork.
Other duties, relevant to the position, shall be assigned as required.
Requirements
Business diploma or Office Administration certificate considered an asset.
3-5 years' experience as an Administrative Assistant, or relevant role, considered an asset.
Proficient use of various office based software including Microsoft Office.
Some overtime is expected during peak seasons.
