The main goal of the Finance Clerk position is to support the finance department by looking after all Cote Health finances, by accurately processing receipts, bank deposits, payroll Electronic Funds Transfers and Group Insurance and Pension in accordance with the Financial Management Act and reporting to the Director of Health, the Director of Finance and the Director of Operations.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
-Possess a grade (12) or equivalent and one (1) year experience in a related field but not necessary, training will be available
-Ability to operate a PC computer, Microsoft Office Applications and working knowledge of database management
-Possess strong organizational skills and the ability to function as a Health Team member
-Communicate effectively and respectfully with band members, employees and external organizations
-Have sound knowledge of how the health policies and regulations are administered
-Must be punctual, dependable and reliable
-High level of confidentiality and must sign an oath of confidentiality on an annual basis
-Ability to take direction and complete tasks independently and efficiently with time constraints
-Must have current driver?s license and a reliable vehicle
