Customer Service Representative

Job Summary:

Reporting directly to the Branch Manager, the Customer Service Representative (CSR) is responsible for supporting the retail operations in the branch and maintaining a high level of customer service. As a main point of contact for Shippers Supply, you must be able to demonstrate expertise in the packaging, warehouse equipment and supply industry.

Requirements:

  Physically able to help out in the warehouse
  High level of detail orientation
  Strong verbal and written communication skills
  Strong work ethic
  Team player

Position Responsibilities:

  Provide industry leading customer service
  Multitask:
     a.  Acknowledge and greet customers in a timely manner
     b.  Manage telephone calls professionally
     c.    Process orders- Phone, email, fax
  Support outside sales team
  Assist with warehouse duties
  Manage daily cash report and balance
  Ensure showroom is clean, neat and tidy
  Manage low dollar accounts
  Load / Carry out product for customers as required
  Cross train with other roles in the branch for absenteeism coverage  
  Assist with all other duties assigned by the Manager

Training will be provided as required.

Industry knowledge and a forklift ticket would be considered an asset.
