ZicomTech Ltd. is currently looking for a Solution Architect for one of our Top Clients located in Regina, SK. To be considered for this position, the successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing systems, processes and organizational solutions to complex problems across multiple areas that support core organizational functions. The role will gain organizational commitment for plans, as well as evaluate and select solutions and technologies required to successfully execute those plans.
Key Responsibilities:
Participate in identifying and collaborating with other project staff and Technology/Security experts on identifying suitable solutions
Model business and systems processes, organizational, requirements across all domains utilizing business process models, use-case scenarios, and data models.
Develop business solutions to align with technology roadmaps
Develop standards, patterns and best practices to promote predictable and consistent designs
Develop detailed project plans and manage project lifecycles within budget and timelines.
Develop and execute test plans to evaluate system and process performance.
Develop and execute solution implementation checklists.
Qualifications:
Exceptional analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent interpersonal, influencing and facilitation skills, with the ability to present ideas in a user-friendly language.
Experience in solution design and development.
Strong understanding of systems and business architecture principles and practices.
Superior written and oral communication skills
Education and Certification:
Minimum of eight (8) to ten (10) years of related work experience in IT including applications, infrastructure and managing projects.
University degree in the field of computer science/engineering or information systems.
A combination of skills and education will be considered.
TOGAF Certification will be considered and asset
