Horizon is currently recruiting for an Accounting Clerk. Reporting to our Director of Finance, you will assist in the smooth and efficient operation of our accounting department, ensuring transparency and efficiency in all transactions.
Responsibilities include:
Issue invoices to customers and external partners
A/R and collections
Data entry, A/P, reconciling, filing
Prepare bank deposits
Enter financial transactions into internal databases
Check spreadsheets for accuracy
Maintain digital and physical financial records
Requirements:
Minimum 1 year of previous experience working as an Accounting Clerk
Knowledge of bookkeeping procedures
Familiarity with finance regulations
Excellent math skills and the ability to spot numerical errors
Hands-on experience with MS Excel, Word, Outlook and accounting software (Sage 300)
Strong organization skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize duties
Ability to handle highly sensitive, confidential information
