Job Description: Under the direction of the program manager, as applicable, and as part of an interdisciplinary team, the Psychologist Masters level provides a complex range of screening, triage, assessment, treatment and case coordination services to a primary adult community mental health and addiction population. The incumbent provides program consultation and co-ordination, evaluation of clinical interventions, preceptor students in formal cllinical practicum, and provides professional and public education regarding mental health and addiction issues and resources. As a practitioner, the Psychologist Masters acts as a resource for other professionals for mental health and addiction in the community.
Required Qualifications

Masters Degree in Clinical Psychology from a recognized University
Must have a current practicing registration with Sask. College of Psychologists with an Authorized Practice Endorsement
Must have a valid driver's license. Some assignments may require access to a vehicle for work
Experience
One year (postgraduate) recognized experience in working within community mental health and addiction services.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Basic computer skills
Demonstrated ability to work in a multidisciplinary setting
Ability to enter and retrieve data in a computer database system
Knowledge of and ability to select, administer, and interpret a comprehensive range of psychological tests; ability to utilize computerized assessment and interpretation software packages
Knowledge of Recovery philosophy
Ability to work independently and in a self-motivated manner, ability to respond under pressure
