Northern Strands Co. is currently seeking a Receptionist. The Receptionist provides administrative support to the organization by acting as the first point of contact for customers, vendors and visitors. The Receptionist must display a positive and professional attitude in all communications. Reporting directly to the Business Manager, the Receptionist plays a key role in the execution of daily tasks necessary for the efficient operation of the organization.
The Receptionist must possess/demonstrate the following skill set:
1. Ability to communicate clearly
2. Ability to multi-task and ensure that all tasks are completed, and all information is forwarded to appropriate personnel in a timely and efficient manner
3. Strong organizational skills
4. Attention to detail with high level of accuracy
5. Ability to work with minimal supervision and problem-solve as required
6. Ability to prioritize
7. Ability to work under varying degrees of pressure and deadlines
8. Computer skills (ie. typing, excel, word, powerpoint, outlook)
9. Grammar/spelling skills
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
* To answer calls and manage a multi-line telephone system in a professional manner
* Mail management
* Preparation of Test Certificates and documentation for the Warehouse
* Manage office supplies
* Clerical duties, as required
