Job Description: Performs work in the operation of a vehicle to assure safe transportation of clients to and from various destinations and to assist clients on entry and exit from vehicles as necessary.
- Working knowledge of the rules and regulations involved in the safe and efficient operation of automotive equipment.
- Knowledge of basic automotive maintenance procedures.
- Ability to deal effectively and patiently with others.
- Ability to operate a van or small bus.
- Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions.
- Ability to lift weights of 40-60 lbs.
- Must be reliable and flexible
- Must have good communication and organizational skills
Qualifications:
- Must have a Valid Class 5 Driver?s License
- Must provide a clear drivers abstract
- First Aid & CPR
- Must provide a clear Criminal Record Check and Child Abuse check
- Must have strong knowledge of Metis & First Nations culture
