d3h Hotels Inc. is now accepting applications for a Full-Time Hotel Sales Representative. Like the book The Secret we chose to adopt the law of attraction to manifest the best possible team member we could find. We asked our sales team, "What are you looking for in a new sales team member?" They dreamed of the most ideal person to fulfill this choice position.  Here is what they said: This person will need to have positive energy and be passionate with a young-at-heart mentality. A true team player who is willing to learn and is moldable. We have worked for many years perfecting a proven sales model. Therefore, this person must have an open-mind to new ideas and have a servant heart. They must enjoy talking on the phone, are a natural when it comes to starting a conversation, but also know when its appropriate to use active listening skills and can respond authentically and appropriately. If mistakes are made, this person would not ask, "Why me?" but instead ask, "What can I learn from that situation?" They must be self-motivated, resilient, and have a will and desire to do their very best. Organizational skills are important and experience in the hotel industry would be amazing. They should be able to celebrate successes and find internal fulfillment in their role. They should find a career in the hospitality industry exciting and have a want and desire to grow with the d3h Family. They should have experience with a CRM system and have excellent, accurate attention to detail when it comes to reporting sales activity. They should always uphold the company values of integrity, work ethic, engaging, fairness and growth with all interactions with team members and customers. We want this person to feel they belong to something larger than themselves and be committed to each other and d3h. We are a family!
