The role will provide support in the oversight of operational risk management practices, including delivery, maintenance and reporting upon enterprise and operational risk management programs at Concentra. The role will also support the operational risk team, as well as, provide oversight to the business.
The role will support the operational risk management practices by contributing to the development of an optimal risk culture where consideration of risk is embedded in all aspects of the business. It will research and provide analysis on enterprise and operational risk industry standards, while maintaining manuals, processes and procedures. It will maintain risk management internal standards, including timely resolution of all issues and engagement with key stakeholders. It will engage with the Operational Risk team on projects, risk activities and undertake development activities, as required. It will operate independently and maintain objectivity while monitoring and reporting on elevated operational risks.
The role will also support the development, delivery, maintenance, and reporting of enterprise and operational risk management programs. It will assist with program facilitation and provide oversight to the business by; coordinating and supporting risk programs, including Risk and Control Self-Assessments, and new initiative assessments, as required. It will provide and maintain monthly/quarterly risk reporting, reporting on key risk indictors, operational loss events and operational risk levels. It will contribute to the development and maintenance of our Resolver software, ensuring risk data is entered in a timely, accurate and consistent manner. It will provide oversight to the business, ensuring remediation/action plans are appropriately addressed, monitored, reported and escalated, as necessary. It will also assist with training and program awareness.
