Description

Adecco is recruiting a Millwright Manager to work in Regina, Saskatchewan. As a Millwright Manager, you report to the Branch Manager and will be held accountable for overseeing and coordinating the efforts of the Millwright Department. You will be responsible for utilizing resources to achieve strategic objectives specific to custom projects.To qualify for this Millwright Manager role, you should have previous experience performing as a Millwright and a minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience in a custom manufacturing environment.

Millwright Manager Responsibilities:
- Work directly with the Branch Manager, Project Manager, and Production Manager
- Oversees and guides a team of Millwrights while delegating tasks and answering questions
- Provides strong leadership and direction to the Millwright Department regarding projects
- Responsible for holding team accountable to meeting quality assurance standards
- Responsible for shaping department and creating a positive work environment
- Successfully read and interpret drawings, designs, and blueprints
- Responds quickly to resolving issues and meeting customer demands
- Responsible for assisting with hands-on tasks if necessary to complete project
- Applies strong knowledge of manufacturing industry and millwright equipment

Millwright Manager Qualification:
- Must have previously performed as a Millwright, Journeyman Millwright preferred
- A minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience in a custom manufacturing setting
- Candidates should be a team player with supportive, helpful attitude
- Candidates should be positive, enthusiastic, and driven to succeed
- Organization, time management, and accountability are required for this role
- Basic computer skills are required
