Job Description: Under the direction of the Director, Regional Pharmacy Services, the staff Pharmacist will provide a variety of services required by the Tuberculosis Control Program of Saskatchewan.  This provincial program provides care for patients diagnosed with tuberculosis and for those patients requiring prophylaxis.  Services provided include medication review, clinical consultation with other members of the health care team to modify and dispense unit-dosed medication to be delivered via directly observed therapy.  Occasional travel to provincial clinics is required.  Communication between various disciplines providing care is essential to co-ordinate type of medications and doses, and often occurs via telephone.
Required Qualifications

Bachelor Degree in Pharmacy
Registered or eligible for registration with the Saskatchewan College of Pharmacists
Accredited hospital pharmacy residency program is preferred
Other Information

Preference for this position will be given to HSAS members in accordance with the terms and conditions of the SAHO/HSAS Collective Agreement.  HSAS seniority within the Saskatchewan Health Authority will be considered under the Selection Criteria.
