Redekop has expanded its machining department with the purchase of more new equipment and we are searching for a qualified CNC machinist. We are a growing company with room for growth and expansion into new roles and responsibilities for the right person.
Responsibilities:
- Setup, operation, and maintenance of CNC Lathes, Mills and saw
- Operates CNC equipment including: Haas VF-3, VF3SSYT, TL-3B, ST-20
- Programming of CNC equipment to produce both production and R&D parts on time and to print
- Quality control of finished parts
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- CAD/CAM certificate or Machinist Certificate
- 3+ years experience operating and programming CNC equipment in a production environment
- Experience with Haas equipment a definite asset
- Experience with Epicor an asset
- Able to work with little to no supervision as well as part of a team to produce parts and drawings
- Strong knowledge and experience with fabrication and shop equipment
- Quality control experience an asset
