B E Energy Services Labourers assist skilled trade persons and perform tasks assigned to them by the Crew Foreman or Field Superintendent at our various job sites. Although experience is an asset, we are willing to train, for the right candidate.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure the appropriate use of Personal Protective Equipment while performing tasks
- Identify and report hazards or unsafe work practices
- Correct unsafe acts and bring unsafe conditions to the attention of the immediate supervisor
- Participate in pre-job tailgate meetings to identify potential hazards and measures to eliminate or minimize them
- Clean construction work areas
- Fuel equipment when needed
- Work with equipment operators and crew to complete grade and excavation work
- Assist pipe fitters and welders with their work
- Assist heavy equipment operators to secure attachments to equipment, signal operators to guide them in safely moving equipment, clean
  tracks on equipment and provide assistance in other activities
- Perform other activities at construction sites, as directed
- Return tools (clean) back to the proper area after the job is complete or at the end of the shift

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Grade 12 or GED
- H2S Alive
- Standard First Aid
- Global II Ground Disturbance
- Valid drivers license and a clean driving record
- Previous pipeline labour experience an asset
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Capable of working with small tools
- Significant use of memory
- Continuous learning

- Fluent in speaking, reading and writing English
- Must be able to follow directions
