Description

The Saskatchewan Professional Teachers Regulatory Board (SPTRB) requires a well-organized, energetic, and confident individual to provide reception, administrative and book keeping support to the SPTRB.  This position is an 18-month term to cover several leaves, so the duties may change throughout the term.

The successful candidate will perform a variety of duties including reception, accounting, administrative functions, managing and archiving electronic and manual filing systems, sorting and distributing incoming and outgoing mail and general office procedures such as word processing, photocopying, filing and emailing.

The candidate of choice for this position will have a post-secondary certificate in accounting or office administration; strong organizational and communication skills; knowledge of the operational and administrative functions of an office environment, and skill in using computer programs such as Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, QuickBooks and databases.

You will have knowledge of:
    office, accounting and administrative procedures, protocols, equipment and records management.

You will have the ability to:
    problem solve and trouble shoot.

You will be:
    self-motivated, conscientious, and attentive to detail in order to ensure high quality service in a timely manner;
    flexible, adaptable and a team player in order to co-operatively accomplish goals and objectives and contribute to a positive work environment;
    attentive to detail, accurate and well-organized to perform a variety of administrative functions with tight deadlines; and,
    A good communicator.

Fluency in French is considered an asset.
