AUTISM INTERVENTIONIST
EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY
Regina Child & Youth Services Autism Centre is currently in the process of recruiting individuals for a role of Autism Interventionist.
Individuals are hired on a contract basis to follow an individualized program plan focusing on various skills such as self-help, academic, play, communication, social and vocational skills. Each contract is between 2-10 hours per week. Interventionists are also hired to work in various groups offered through the Autism Centre.
A valid drivers license and a current criminal record check (within the last year) are required. Experience working with children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder is required.
Preference will be given to those with knowledge of ABA (Applied Behavioural Analysis), Discrete Trial Teaching, PECS (Picture Exchange Communication System) and child development.
This position offers flexible hours and a pay rate of $16.00 - $18.00 per hour depending on qualifications.
We are currently looking for individuals that have daytime availability between the hours of 8am 5pm.
