Description

Reporting to the Vice President, Health, Safety, Security, Environment & Quality (HSSEQ), the Manager, Health, Safety, Security & Environment (HSSE) will be accountable for the development and implementation of operational programs, plans and procedures leading to the continual improvement and compliance of core processes and the integrated management system. This position will provide functional HSSE direction, advice and expertise in training and support to the Bethune mine operation. A key member of the site management team, the Manager, HSSE will identify and develop initiatives that support a positive safety culture and proactive environmental approach for the Bethune mine operations team and Work with the  senior management team to act as an interface with internal and external stakeholders.
