Description

The Lighthouse Supported Living is an emergency shelter, supported living and affordable housing provider offering a range of services to people experiencing homelessness and poverty to help them overcome barriers and achieve self-sufficiency. The Lighthouse is currently hiring a full-time permanent Client Support Worker for our Complex Needs department. Client Support Workers provide daily therapeutic support services to residents with complex mental illness and addiction conditions. The program provides single accommodation and 24 hour, seven day a week staff support to facilitate recovery processes. These include supports to improve illness management, coping skills, life skills and better overall health in order to maximize independence and improve quality of life.

This position oversees daily operational functioning of Complex Needs office. This includes daily room checks, medications, files, stats, cleaning of office, staff washroom, hallways and stairwell, as well as overseeing move-outs and room preparation for new residents.

Client Support Workers do twelve-hour shifts, with a rotation of two day shifts, two night shifts, four days off.
