Logic Renovations and Construction is a company that specializes in restorations, bathroom remodeling, exterior work, fences and decks, kitchens and general renovations. Logic Renovations is currently looking for a general labourer to fill a part-time (with the possibility for full-time) position a.s.a.p.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Adhere to policies and procedures related to quality and safety
Moving general construction materials and cleaning up of construction workplace including sweeping and other cleaning duties
Assist in picking up, loading and unloading of supplies
Operate power tools, saws, hammers and other hand-held equipment
Hauling waste to the dump
Driving truck and trailer
Other duties as required by Company
REQUIREMENTS
Must be 18 years of age
Must hold a valid driver license and be willing to provide a drivers abstract when required
Must own a cellphone
Must be able to meet all safety requirements
Must be willing to work one on one with employer
WORK CONDITIONS
Ability to do physically strenuous work for an 8 hour period
Must be able to stand, crouch and kneel for extended periods
Successful candidates should be fit and able to lift weights of 50 lbs
Must provide their own safety footwear and work appropriate clothing
Must have reliable transportation, or be able to access job sites located throughout the city
OTHER QUALITIES
Able to work independently with minimal supervision and to work within a team environment
Ability to multi-task
Must have good verbal and written communication skills and be presentable to the public
Successful candidate should be a self-starter and take initiative
No experience is required, but preference will be given to candidates that have prior experience in construction
