Description

To provide occupational therapy services to clients of the Community Clinic.
Provision of a range of community based occupational therapy services in accordance with departmental & agency goals, priorities, & resources as well as in keeping with Occupational Therapy professional guidelines.
Work in collaboration with CHSA health care team and community agencies to meet client and organizational goals.
Participate in clinical case conferences where appropriate.
Maintain documentation of occupational performance process in health records & statistical records & in keeping with professional guidelines & agency policies.
Maintain & upgrade knowledge & skills in keeping with needs of the client population & in keeping with changes in the profession.
Offer education to clients, staff & community in areas of therapists expertise.
Provide work site & ergonomic assessment to clinic staff where appropriate.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Licensure with the Saskatchewan Society of Occupational Therapy (SSOT).
Graduate of Occupational Therapy program from an accredited occupational therapy program or equivalent as recognized by SSOT.
Two years experience preferred in provision of occupational therapy services to a variety of clients with a diverse range of needs.
Advanced skills and training in community based care and specialized populations.
Ability to be self-directed and to work independently.
must have malpractice insurance.
must have a valid drivers license & be able to provide own transportation.
Demonstrates strong interpersonal and collaborative communication skills and attitude.
Knowledge of, and compatibility with, the philosophy and policies of the CHSA.
Must be bondable.
