The Food Centre is looking for an individual seeking a unique opportunity to work in a diversified food processing setting. This position is primarily responsible for the development, maintenance and monitoring of the HACCP Food Safety System.
Main duties include:
Working closely with CFIA and all other regulatory and certification bodies to ensure clear communication and adherence to applicable regulations and standards.
Development, implementation and monitoring of the HACCP system, quality assurance program and all other food safety programs.
Conducting food safety training for staff as required
Skills and Experience:
Experience or Knowledge of HACCP, Quality Assurance, GMPs and SOP development is an asset.
Qualified candidates must have experience with Microsoft Suite.
Education or training in Food Safety, Food Science, Biological Sciences, Chemistry, Microbiology or related fields is considered an asset.
Superior written and verbal communication skills.
Previous experience working in a federally registered food-processing environment.
